This December, Olivia will be featured at Sea Island & Cookie Magazine's Annual Gifted Children Event. Olivia will be unveiling her highly anticipated wildlife series during the event.
Wipe Out Kids Cancer - Spirit of Little Mo Award - November, 2006
Olivia was the 2006 recipient of the "Spirit of Little Mo" Education/Awareness award. This award was presented by the Dallas based Wipe Out Kid's Cancer organization. The award honored Olivia for her ongoing involvement in raising funds for children's cancer research. During the events gala dinner and live auction, Olivia's limited edition print raised $3,300 for WOKC. Margot and H. Ross Perot were the Honorary Chairs of this year's event.
WOKC Spirit of Little Mo Award
Good Morning Texas - April, 2006
Gary Cogill recently interviewed Olivia on Good Morning Texas. Olivia announced her partnership with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and unveiled her painting Rose Pedals. In addition to donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of "Rose Pedals", which is priced at $50,000, Olivia will contribute monies raised through the sale of Signed/Numbered Giclee prints of the painting. For each giclee sold, $300 will go directly to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Prints of "Rose Pedals" retail for $595.
"Olivia's Hope" for Cook Children's Medical Center
Olivia partnered with Cook Children's Medical Center to raise funds for the Hematology/Oncology Department during the Grand Opening of the Olivia Bennett Art Gallery. Olivia raised $4000 from the sales of her artwork and donated it to the Medical Center.
